Alan Bowling
Alan Bowling was admitted to the Texas bar in 1990, and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts in the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Education: University of Texas, Arlington (B.A. with highest honors, 1987); University of Texas (J.D. with honors, 1990). Member: American Journal of Criminal Law, 1988-1989. Member: State Bar of Texas; Tarrant County Bar Association; Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association.

Alan practices business, probate and family litigation. As a general civil attorney, he also handles personal injury, consumer and employment law, wills and estates and business and contract formation.* In March 2001, Alan was appointed Associate Municipal Court Judge for the City of Benbrook.
Before coming to Benbrook to practice law, Alan was a shareholder and director in one of the largest downtown Fort Worth law firms. Prior to entering college, Alan had a varied career, including owning and operating more than one successful small business. During the construction boom of the early 1980's, Alan was a member of a trade union, working on many of the large office buildings in downtown Fort Worth.

As a former successful small business owner, Alan has an understanding of the many challenges, needs and problems of operating a business. His experience in the construction industry showed Alan the importance of proper planning and execution of that plan, because nothing lasting can be built in their absence.

"I think the greatest satisfaction I have as an attorney is when I can help families and individuals deal with the complexities of the law. Helping clients prepare their Wills and Powers of Attorney, helping them deal with divorce or custody disputes, helping to arrange an adoption, or helping a small business owner incorporate or collect on debts gives me an incredible feeling of satisfaction."

Alan has been married to his wife Toni for over 25 years, and is the proud father of two sons, Brett and Nathan.

Fred Peterson is of Counsel.
